About

Joseph Lee has been working closely with real estate professionals for over 33 years as a land management consultant. He is a licensed Forester and Real Estate Broker offering sales assistance and land management services to a wide variety of clients. As the owner of Chestnut Forestry Services Inc., Joe provides farm and forest management planning services and works with landowners and real estate professionals to provide maximum value to real estate sales. As a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor, Joe brings an enormous amount of knowledge to his home buyers with his understanding of the building codes and regulations. His passion for historical homes and understanding of construction techniques is a great asset to both buyers and sellers.  

His knowledge of property values and natural resource management is an important value to landowners wishing to sell their properties. Joe has an eye towards curb appeal and his experience with zoning regulations, wetland protection laws, subdivision planning, Chapter 61,61a, 61b tax classifications, timber harvesting, and sales, as well as a strong background in house construction, Title V regulations, and property management are a major asset to anyone considering the sale of their property.      

Joe has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts and is a licensed Real Estate Broker and owner of Steeplechase Realtors. He is a past member of the Princeton Historical Commission, former Chairperson of the Princeton Public Lands Review Committee, and served as the Town Tree Warden.  Joe is a member of the National Association of Realtors, North Central Mass Association of Realtors, Massachusetts Farm Bureau, the Society of American Foresters, and the Mass. Association of Professional Foresters.  

Joe lives in Princeton, MA  Joe is an Eagle Scout and volunteers with the local Scout Troop 1. He is an avid sailor and a former crew member on US-26, Courageous, a former America Cup winner. Joe's hobby is restoring wooden sailboats. He loves mountain climbing, skiing, canoeing, and boating and loves teaching and sharing his knowledge with others.
